Vanstar New Zealand Ltd is a locally owned and operated transport company based in Rangiora, North Canterbury.

Operating similar to an oversized courier we specialize in new goods direct to the domestic and commercial identities throughout Canterbury.  We are looking to recruit a very fit, energetic, well groomed individual with a clean class 1 licence to be a part of the team.

There is Very Heavy Lifting involved, often in tricky situations into diverse areas, so the role can be very demanding. The suitable person will need to be physical strong, reliable, have attention to detail, and a focus on customer service.  Excellent communication skills are a must as you will be interacting with a diverse clientele base.

Working in teams of two you will also be responsible for the management of an off-sider, ensuring company protocol, efficiencies and safety measures are met at all times.   Driving our large modern vehicles you will have a sound knowledge of Canterbury, be responsible for the integrity of the vehicle and safety of others.

The position is Monday through to Saturday.  We have a small close dynamic team and very respectful commercial clients.

Please note our starting and finishing Depot in based in Rangiora, North Canterbury.
